Some people think they have to look a certain way to be happy! It goes back to my post on looking like this celebrity or having a 6pack etc.....
This belief that if I get down to a goal weight I will be happier. But its not often the case. One the past few years, I have battled with my body shape, wasn’t happy and even when i was prepping for the bodybuilding show last year i found flaws.
Now I wake up in the morning and appreciate all the good things about myself. For me happiness isn’t dictated by a body fat percentage anymore or for others it may be a number on the scales.
If I was like the way I was I would still be stressing, still frustrated and not enjoying life. Happiness is for me is seeing friends and family getting on well and giving value to each and every one of them, appreciating them and being grateful for my own heath and all that I have.
So if you find yourself stressing so much and not making the most of life, take a step back and write down 50 things you are grateful for! It can be anything at all. I guarantee it will put a smile on your face.
